Autism

Autism Awareness Month

Each year, Trait d’Union Outaouais joins other regional associations and the Fédération québécoise de l’autisme (provincial federation of regional associations) to shine a light on Autism Awareness Month.

All through April, we organize activities and awareness campaigns to inform and raise awareness and acceptance of autism within the general population. We also deploy regional programming and promote our fund-raising campaign for our specialized summer day camps.

In the rest of Canada, Autism Awareness Month is in October and it’s another opportunity to raise awareness about autism. Various events and activities are organized by TUOI and partners.

At Trait d’Union Outaouais, we believe that any opportunity is a chance to raise awareness about autism and to encourage inclusion and social justice for autistic people.
